The 4th Regional Workshop on the Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan (2028 – 2032) was convened in Khon Kaen Province at the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre. The event aimed to gather public feedback, insights, and recommendations from stakeholders in the agricultural sector across the Northeastern region, which will be utilized to formulate the comprehensive Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan (2028 – 2032).
On July 16, 2026, Dr. Kanjana Kwanmuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), honorably presided over the opening ceremony of the 4th Regional Workshop on the Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan (2028–2032) in Khon Kaen Province.
The workshop activities were divided into two key sessions:
Morning Session: Featured a keynote lecture on “The Situation of Thai Agriculture” by Ms. Suprama Rojanaburanon, Director of the Agricultural Policy and Planning Sub-Division, Division of Agricultural Development Policy and Planning. This was followed by a presentation on “The Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan” delivered by Ms. Karuna Taengwichit, Plan and Policy Analyst, Senior Professional Level.
Afternoon Session: Focused on a collaborative brainstorming session regarding the “(Draft) Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan (2028–2032)”, covering the vision, strategic goals, development issues, and implementation guidelines. The session was facilitated by Ms. Karuna Taengwichit, Plan and Policy Analyst, Senior Professional Level and Mr. Thanutpat Thatakhun, Plan and Policy Analyst, Practitioner Level, representing the Office of Agricultural Economics.
