From March 16 – 18, 2026, officials from the Agri-Economic Area Development Policy and Plan Subdivision under the Agricultural Development Policy and Plan Division, Office of Agricultural Economics, conducted a field visit to monitor the production and marketing situation of rubber in the Eastern region. During the visit, they interviewed rubber farmers in Kaeng Hang Maeo District, Chanthaburi Province, and also interviewed Dr. Preedee Leelasetthawong, Managing Director of Grand Rubber Co., Ltd. and Thong Thai Rubber Co., Ltd. The information gathered will be used to support a study on guidelines for developing the potential of agricultural area management for rubber in the Eastern region.
